Michée - Revised Standard Version (1966)

C'est un contemporains d'Isaïe, il appartient au monde de la petite paysannerie dont il connaît et partage les douleurs. De caractère ferme et bien trempé, il a un langage vif, coloré et parfois assez cru. Michée est par excellence le prophète social. Il s'en prend à toutes les forces d'oppression dont sont victimes les petits et les pauvres. Le vrai culte se trouve dans le verset 8 du chapitre 6. Reprise du thème du petit reste. Plan : Réquisitoire contre Israël et Juda (1-3), promesse d'un glorieux avenir (4-5), nouveaux reproches (6-7), perspectives d'avenir (7,8-20).
